The Master in Social Sciences focused on Agrarian Social Studies was created in 1986 and from that year onwards it has developed an intense activity concerning post-graduate studies and research on agrarian issues.

This master is oriented to graduates of different fields (agronomists, sociologists, anthropologists, economists, geographers) and other professional expertise fields (researchers, teachers, officers, promoters and extensionists).

The main objective of this master is to contribute to graduate education within the framework of a high-level academic program allowing to deepen the knowledge of the agrarian contemporary reality from a multi-disciplinary view. The historic evolution and the recent transformations with special attention to the Argentine case within the context of world changes and the national re-structuring processes in its economic, social, political and environmental dimensions is discussed.
