This master belongs to the field of anthropological research developed in the Program to motivate post-graduate studies in Social Anthropology due to the increasing request of professionalism in basic research and applied research.  The purpose of this master is to recover and deepen the contributions from studies evidencing current discussions in the social and political anthropology field.

The curriculum of this program articulates different fields of social anthropology, providing conceptual and methodological tools to update basic research works, teaching and to create policies applied to development. These conceptual and methodological tools emphasize ethnography as knowledge inherent to anthropological tradition but always promoting inter-discipline in the social sciences.
