Master in Human Development

Director: Pablo Vinocur

The objective of the Postgraduate Studies Program in Human Development, formulated with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), is to offer a contribution to the generation of human resources capable of improving the institutional quality of public policies from the human development perspective. We firmly believe in the potential that this perspective has to help recover the goals of positive change through public agency.

The Program aims at responding to the expectations of anyone interested in Human Development. It is, however, especially designed for professionals linked to state and non-state public institutions that deal with management, and/ or research and teaching in the field of public policies. Our virtual modality and the design of the program allows students to organize their time and rhythm of studies according to their expectations and obligations, with only one yearly direct encounter in Buenos Aires.

The Program offers a two years long Master’s Degree, a year and a half long Specialization Degree and a year long Diploma in Human Development. The three suppose progressive levels of involvement in the conceptual and technical issues related to Human Development perspective. Holders of the Diploma and/or the Specialization can easily continue their studies toward the Master’s Degree. Launched in 2009, the program is in the process of accreditation by Argentine Education Authorities.
