El Programa de Ciencias Sociales y Salud de FLACSO Argentina, coordinado por Raúl Mercer, participó en el evento de lanzamiento del Millennium Development Goals: Progress Reports, organizado por la Revista Archives of Diseases in Childhood, perteneciente al British Medical Journal. El Programa contribuyó además con un artículo en dicho suplemento especial.

El evento tuvo lugar el 26 de febrero en la British Medical Association, en Londres.
