Ana López Molina

Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Education (FLACSO). Currently enrolled in the PhD Program in Social Sciences at FLACSO. Holder of a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Sociology from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and a Diploma in Culture and Society from the Institute of Advanced Social Studies (IDAES-UNSAM). Member of the Research Hub on Education, Gender, Sexualities, and Bodies (NEGESEC) within the Education, Knowledge, and Society Program at FLACSO Argentina. Member of the Central America Studies Group (GECA) at the Institute of Latin American and Caribbean Studies (IEALC), University of Buenos Aires. Consultant for international training programs in human rights and the prevention of gender-based violence through the Research Institute for Advocacy in Education and Teacher Training (EducaGuatemala). Experience in teaching at the graduate and higher education levels in the areas of gender, education and public policy, research methodology, anthropology, and sociology. Work includes facilitation of training and workshops in intercultural educational strategies, political education for Indigenous women, and community development planning. Research and publications address a range of topics including gender, education, rural women, youth, human rights, adolescent motherhood and fatherhood, food and nutritional security, political education, memory, and Indigenous peoples.
